Patsy L. (Havens) Gauger

Patsy L (Havens)Gauger, age 81 of Boscobel passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2024 after a courageous battle with Alzheimers/Dementia at Divine Rehab and Nursing Home in Fennimore. She was born March 30, 1942 to Clifford and Ruth Havens. She attended Steuben, Wauzeka, and Boscobel schools. She met and married John E Sander, September 26, 1959. They had four children together before divorcing. She then met and married James E Gauger on July 1, 1973. She enjoyed camping, bowling, fishing, shopping, bingo, meat paddles, wine, especially Roscato, and traveling to Myrtle Beach and Lake of the Ozarks. The love of her life was her family and special friends. She made sure to let each of them know she “Loved Them to the Moon and Back.” She spent many years at Advance Transformer in Boscobel starting there in 1969 and working until she retired in 2006. Patsy is survived by her children; Robin (Andy) Jones, Boscobel, Renee Frazier and fiancé Tracy Sacia, LaCrosse, and Rodney (Theresa) Sander, Livingston, her sister, Joyce Rosenau, Boscobel, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, her niece, Page Oswald, Wauzeka, step-son, Steve Gauger, Baraboo, and a very special friend and caregiver, Sue Connely, Boscobel. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, her daughter, Rhonda Parish, parents, Clifford and Ruth and a brother, Junior Havens. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the BMZ Methodist Church in Boscobel, with Pastor Stan Pegram officiating. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Boscobel Cemetery. Kendall Funeral Services in Boscobel is assisting the family.
