Arleen E. (Freymiller) Gobin

Arleen E. Gobin, age 84 of Preston and formerly of  Gays Mills, passed away on Monday December 9, 2019 at her home in Preston.  She was born on August 22, 1935 in Marion Township Grant County Wisconsin.  The daughter of Albert and Josephine (Yero) Freymiller. She married James Junior Gobin on May 25, 1953 at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel.  He preceded her in death on January 23, 2019.  She is survived by four daughters : Carolyn Pinto of Baraboo, Barbara (Clint) Spargur of Casper Wy.,  Cheryl Ellis of Preston, Kathleen Gobin of Afton Wy. One son Edward (Rosemary) Gobin of Prairie du Chien. Two sisters: Maxine Anderson of Muscoda, Linda (James) Baumeister of Baraboo.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Joyce Freeman, two grandchildren Dora Lynn Calkin, Jeffrey Delbert Gobin. One Great-Grandson Walter Edward Ready Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 10:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Cottonwood Supper Club in Fennimore.  Burial will be in the Westfork Cemetery rural  Excelsior.
