Briar Jack Brown age 12 of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2014 at the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 31, 2001 in Boscobel. The son of Scott and Kari (Degenhardt) Brown. Briar is a 6th grader at Boscobel Elementary School in Boscobel. Briar was such a wonderful kid. He loved sports, especially football. He loved to hunt, fish, and the outdoors. He loved attending Winona State University football games with his family. His smile was infectious and he touched many lives in the short time he was here. Briar's love for God, family,friends and everyone he's met and the families he's touched through organ donation will live on forever. He is survived by his parents Scott and Kari Brown of Boscobel. Twin siblings Abri and Brenner Brown both at home. Paternal Grandmother Pat Brown of Boscobel. Paternal Grandfather Tim (Judy) Brown of Muscoda. Maternal Grandfather Karl (Helen) Degenhardt of Boscobel. Paternal Great-Grandmother Mae Brown of Boscobel. Paternal Great-Grandmother Dorothy Pulvermacher of Boscobel . Special Aunts and Uncles Karla (Pete) Coon of Woodman, Kris (Brian) McQuirk of Mazomanie, Kim (Joel) Wetter of Boscobel, Rick (Betty) Brown of Boscobel. Cousins Kyle Coon, Levi Wetter, Alisha McQuirk, Natasha McQuirk. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother Gloria Dawley. Maternal Great-Grandparents Marge and Perry Owens . Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 21, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at the Boscobel High School Gymnasium in Boscobel with Pastor Noel Mayes officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday February 21, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the Boscobel High School Gymnasium in Boscobel.
