Dateline-Boscobel

Arlene M.  Faulkner, age 85, of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at Gundersen Medical  Center in LaCrosse, surrounded by her family. She was born September 30, 1937, in Highland Wisconsin.  The daughter of Elizabeth Harriman. She married William Howell in September of 1954, they divorced. She then married Donald Faulkner in July of 1976 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua Iowa.  He preceded her in death in December of 2011. 

Arlene was  a Military wife for 12 years, working at Baraboo Badger Army Ammunitions plant for 9 years. She then worked at Advance Transformer in Boscobel, as a group leader, following retirement from Advance, she went into semi-retirement working as a receptionist at H & R Block in Boscobel. She enjoyed fishing, bowling in the leagues . She enjoyed Brewer Games and trips to Branson Missouri . She also enjoyed staying at her cabin in Bagley, Wisconsin for several years.

She is survived by her children, Rick (Elaine) Howell of Boscobel, Pam (Stan) Hagensick of Monona Ia., Rhonda Dowell of Boscobel, Lauri Howell Salman of Boscobel. 11 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, an  infant daughter Cindy Howell, a brother Myron "Butch" Harriman. Three sons in laws; Steven Dowell, Delbert Colson, and Doug Salman.

According to Arlene's wishes, a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Bagley Cemetery, Bagley Wisconsin.
