Ben G. Neumann, age 86, of rural Boscobel, passed away on Friday March 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born February 14, 1933,  in Barrington Illinois.  The son of Benjamin and Agnes (Niles) Neumann.  He married Jean Ritter on August 1, 1959 in Chicago Illinois. Ben worked as a union carpenter for 44  years, overseeing several large commercial projects.  He is survived by his wife Jean Neumann of Boscobel, two Grandchildren Joseph (Maribelle) Neumann, Sandra Dorazil. Three Great-Grandchildren Sierra Llaguno, Edward Neumann, Jeffrey Neumann. Three brothers; Jack Neumann of Milledgeville Ga., Jerry (Barbara) Neumann of  Birchwood Wi., Stephen (Kathy) Neumann of Steelville Mo.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Jeffrey Neumann, Scott Neumann .

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.  Pastor Peter Heide officiating. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no visitation.  Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
