Betty A. (Wiles) O'Brien

Betty A. O'Brien, aged 71 of Boscobel, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at her home in Boscobel, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 25, 1952, in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of William and Hildegarde (Traeger) Wiles Sr. She married Hoyt O'Brien in 1988 .

Betty enjoyed collecting vintage housewares and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Hoyt O'Brien of Boscobel; her children, Jennifer Weber of Kenosha, Brittani (Dustin) Johnson of Janesville, Tynan (Jacki) O'Brien of Eau Claire, Chase O'Brien of Madison, Kaine O'Brien of Eau Claire; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Patti Vavra of Mundelein, Illinois, and Sherri (Dave) DeVoe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Jordan O'Brien; two brothers, William Wiles Jr. and Robert Wiles; and two sisters, Barbara Colwel and Shirley Tsaousis.

According to Betty's wishes, no formal service or visitation will be held. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.
