Beverly "Bev" J. (Neeley) Bender

Beverly J. "Bev" Bender, age 81 of Boscobel, passed away on Monday December 5,. 2022 at Gundersen Health System in Boscobel.  She was born October 7, 1941 in Boscobel.  The daughter of Faye and Velveo (Reed) Neeley.  She married Louie Howell, he preceded her in death, she then married Gene Bender on June 17, 1978 at the Marion Church rural Woodman. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2002. 
Bev was a wonderful mom and grandma. Some of her enjoyments included classic country music, scratching lotto tickets, and the occasional casino visit.  She enjoyed playing Euchre while enjoying a brandy old fashioned.  She was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. Most of all , she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Donald (Lisa) Howell of Boscobel, Lora Howell of Boscobel, Amy Howell and Galton Barker both of Las Vegas New Mexico, Sheryl (Herman) Cullen of Fennimore, Gena (Gary) Ottman of Boscobel. 18 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren. One brother, Gary (Kathy) Neeley of Boscobel. One sister, Connie Neeley of Boscobel. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth and Carson Neeley, a sister, Joyce Leggett.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M./ at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Barbara Wolfe officiating. Burial in the Bethel Cemetery, rural Fennimore.
