Brenda (Blair) Ott, age 71, of Boscobel, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on September 11, 2025, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse after numerous medical complications.
She was married to the love of her life, Roger Ott, for three days shy of 51 years, and together they built a life centered on love, family, and faith. Brenda is survived by her husband Roger Ott, children Sarah Dalton (Andy) and Ethan Ott (Dean), and her beloved grandson Gideon Dalton and five special grandpups, who brought her endless joy.
Brenda loved simple pleasures that brought people together—going out for a good meal with friends, watching movies and survival shows, camping, and playing cards. She especially cherished time spent with family and friends. When she was healthier, she enjoyed traveling to see new places, with annual trips to Las Vegas being a highlight she always looked forward to.
A loyal Green Bay Packers fan, Brenda loved cheering on her team each season.
As her children were growing up, Brenda loved spending time outdoors with them. She especially enjoyed fishing—but only when the fish were biting!
Brenda grew up helping her parents, Robert and Leona Blair, in their family donut shop. She often recalled with fondness the early mornings spent making donuts with them.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Brenda had a deep and abiding belief in Jesus Christ as her Savior, and she carried that faith with her always.
Brenda worked as a paraprofessional in the Boscobel School District for 35 years before retiring to spend more time with her husband, Roger. She made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students and colleagues through her kindness, patience, and dedication.
Brenda is further survived by 3 sisters, Trudy (Marvin) Brown, Deb (Tom) Belz and Susie (Dan) Beinborn; a brother Robbie (Julie) Blair, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her infant son Brian Ott, her parents Robert and Leona Blair, her father-in-law Bud Ott, her mother-in-law Inez Ott, and her brother-in-law Robert Ott.
Brenda’s life was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.
