Burl L. Fish, age 85 of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday August 26, 2020 at his residence in Boscobel. He was born February 8, 1935, in Clayton Township Crawford County Wisconsin. The son of Clyde and Gertrude (Sopher) Fish. He married Katherine McKnight on May 29, 1959, in Clayton Iowa. She preceded him in death on November 11, 1993. He served as a Marine during the Korean Conflict. He worked for John Deere for over 30 years. He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Fish of Jacksonville Fl., Karen (Carl) Kuhn of Panama City Fl. Five Grandchildren, Six Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, along with four brothers, and five sisters. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He also like to ride his scooter around town to visit everyone and gave candy to them.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday September 1, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gays Mills, Cemetery in Gays Mills, Wisconsin. Pastor Rich McLeer officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the McCormick-Rose Post #308 American Legion of Gays Mills. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.
