Carol A. Kalish, age 78 of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday June19, 2021 at Prairie Mason. She was born December 24, 1942 in Prairie du Chien. The daughter of Elmer and Viola (Tippery) Tesar. She married Ronny Kalish on February 24, 1962 at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Prairie du Chien. Carol worked at Howe Printing in Prairie du Chien for over 35 years. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time, with an emphasis, on baby blankets. She enjoyed taking bus trips, and gambling on cruises or at casinos . She also enjoyed traveling with her family.
She is survived by her husband; Ronny Kalish of Bridgeport. A daughter, Corina Kalish of Bagley. A grandson, Michael John Kalish of Launa Ia.,4 Great-Grandchildren. 4 sisters; Mary Tesar Droster of Evansville Wi., Nancy Nelson of Boscobel, Sandy (Francis) Gordon of Janesville, and Linda (Dave) Bawar of Baraboo. A sister in law: Bonnie Tesar of Lake City Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents, along with a son ;Ron Kalish Jr., a brother Dave Tesar.
According to Carol's wishes there will be no formal service at this time. However a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family. Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
