Charles E. “Chuck” Lewis, age 70 of Boscobel, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025. He was born on February 27, 1955 to the late Harold and Sophia (Burgus) Lewis. Chuck married Carmen Bingham on December 3, 1982 in Dodge County, and they were blessed with 42 years together. He loved fishing, ice fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. Chuck was a happy, loving person, but was known to be a bit stubborn at times. His pride and joy though were his children and grandchildren. Chuck will be remembered by his family for being a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Carmen Lewis, children: Michael (Renee) Miller, Christopher Miller, Tara Miller, Vanessa Turner, and Amanda (Dale) Larson; sister Jean (Chuck) Rodgers; brothers-in-law Roger: (Virginia) Bingham of Fond du Lac, Dennis (Cindy) Bingham of Watertown, and Thomas Bingham of Watertown; sister-in-law Terry (Dale) Grueneberg of Oxford, 17 grandchildren, along with other relatives, and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his infant grandson Trevor Miller, siblings: William (Diane) Lewis, Richard Lewis, Randy Lewis, Maxine Fuerstenberg, Dianne Puckett, and Joan Atkinson; mother-in-law Dorothy Bingham, brother-in-law Robert (Brenda Zink) Bingham, niece Jade Bingham, and nephews Travis Zink and Robert Bingham, Jr.
The funeral service for Chuck will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of the service. He will be laid to rest at the Homer Cemetery in Hickory Grove.
