Charles J. Simmons , age 79 of rural Boscobel, passed away on Tuesday June 15, 2021 at his home.  He was born September 30, 1941, in Plain Dealing Louisiana . The son of Earl and Talulah (Gore) Simmons.  He married Margaret Racky on April 6, 1991 in Chicago Illinois. He was a Marine Vietnam Veteran. He is survived by his wife Margaret Simmons of Boscobel. 2 Nephews; John Ellis of Shreveport Louisiana, Dale Ellis of Little Rock Arkansas .  He was preceded in death by his parents, along with 1 brother and 4 sisters. He was an avid reader. He was also interested in regenerative agriculture.
