Charles "Chuck" A. Prucha

Charles A. "Chuck" Prucha, age 71 of Soldiers Grove and formerly of  Cedar Rapids Iowa, passed away on Wednesday December 21, 2022, at Soldiers Grove Health Services, in Soldiers Grove.He was born September 9, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa.  The son of Alvin and Evelyn (Christle) Prucha.  After life long challenges with different abilities, Chuck worked at the Opportunity Center in Prairie du Chien for 35 years. He was a true Wisconsin Badger fan, supported the Brewers, loyal to his fathers college, Iowa State University football team. He had several favorite football teams, but definitely  "NOT "the Packers.
He is survived by  his cousins, Donna Banks, Christine Miller, Pat Ridout and Tom Ridout and Dave Ridout . He is also survived by his extended family Debra and Mike Martin of Prairie du Chien, Devan Toberman, and his extended nephews, Gaige, Brant, and Brecken all of Prairie du Chien.
According to Chuck's wishes there will be no service or visitation. He will be buried in the Czech  National Cemetery in Cedar Rapid Iowa, along side his parents.  The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel Wisconsin is assisting the family along with the Papich-Kuba Funeral Service in Cedar Rapids Iowa.  Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
