Chester "Chet" A. Wetter

Chester A. "Chet" Wetter, age 87 of Fennimore, passed away on Saturday June 25, 2022 at the University of Wisconsin Medical Center in Madison.  He was born December 12, 1934.  The son of Albert and Nellie (Rice) Wetter.
Chet spent his entire life in the area.  He was passionate about hunting and his biggest joy were his numerous hunting trips to Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and of course here at home with his brothers, nephews and many friends and sharing stories and photos of each adventure.
He is survived by two brothers, Larry (Marlene) Wetter of Boscobel, Dave (Gail) Wetter of Boscobel. Three sisters, Elaine (Douglas) Knudtson of DeForest, Verene (Marvin) Fritz of Hampton Mn., Linda (Ron) Frericks of Hopkins MN.  Goddaughter Dana Bodenbender (Terence Schwind) of Boscobel, along with several other Nieces and Nephews. A sister in law; Shirley Wetter of Fennimore. Chet is also survived by his second family, all the great people at the Cottonwood in Fennimore. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Arnold (Helen) Wetter, and Lyle Wetter.
Chet was always ready to lend a helping hand and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday July 2, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Lance Wetter officiating, burial in the Boscobel Cemetery.  Friends may call on Saturday July 2, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.  Online condoles can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
