Dennis Adametz

Dennis E. Adametz, age 74 of Boscobel, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 in Muscoda. He was born on September 26, 1951 in Stoughton, son of the late Edward and Bernice (Hagenston) Adametz, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and the love of all who knew him. Born as the youngest of four siblings, Dennis brought a special light into the lives of his family. He was a gentle soul whose kindness, innocence, and loving nature touched everyone around him. Throughout his life, he found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved listening to music, singing, savoring ice cream and cookies, playing with blocks, going for car rides, and spending peaceful moments in his favorite rocking chairs.

Dennis formed meaningful connections with the many caregivers and care workers who supported him over the years. He showed them warmth and affection and appreciated the kindness they showed him. In return, they loved him for his sweet spirit, gentle heart, and the happiness he brought to their day.  Although his life had challenges, he maintained happy and healthy relationships with everyone in his life.  His life was filled with love, comfort, and the devoted care of family, friends, and caregivers who treasured him deeply.

Dennis is survived by his nephews Jeremy Zimpel of Madison and Craig (Megan) Zimpel of Coon Rapids, MN, nieces Becky (Ernesto) Alatorre of Sun Prairie, Brooke Zimpel of Boscobel, Jenna (Tom) Taylor of Bloomington, and Stacey Mezera of Woodman; aunt Patricia Effinger of Viroqua, and brothers-in-law Bill Zimpel of Boscobel and Jerry Mezera of Woodman. He was preceded in death by his sisters Sue Mezera and Vicky Zimpel, along with his parents.

A private memorial gathering will be held for family and close friends. He will be laid to rest in the Muscoda Cemetery. Online condolences can be offered at www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
