Dorothy J. (Watters) Yahn

Dorothy J. Yahn, age 83, of Liberty Township Ohio, passed away on Saturday July 9, 2022 at her home in Liberty Township Ohio, surrounded by her family.  She was born October 20, 1938 in Oak Park, Illinois. The daughter of James and Dorothy (Lee) Watters Jr. 
Dotty was a wonderful mother and grandma who always put her family first.   Grandma Dot was adored by her grandsons and the ladies they love.  She loved good food, flowers, watching the birds, music and she loved to dance.   The family dogs were never more than a few feet away and she loved that.  Dot loved to travel, and felt most at home at Seabrook Island, South Carolina.  She was always up for an adventure and truly enjoyed life. 

  She will be missed by every life she touched.  Vaya con Dios!

She is survived by her children, a daughter Melissa (Mark) Clark of Liberty Township Ohio, a son Eric (Connie) Yahn of Liberty Township Ohio. Five grandchildren. Joshua Clark, Harrison Clark, Thomas Clark, William Yahn, Cameron Yahn. One brother, James (Elaine) Watters of Landsdale Pennsylvania.  She was preceded in death by parents, and an infant son, Charles Eric Yahn.

Private Funeral Services will be held on Monday July 18, 2022 at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.  Pastor Ben Hodges officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery.  The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.  Online condolences can be sent to
