Earl Schwert Obituary

Dateline-Boscobel

Earl L. Schwert, age 86 of Boscobel, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Gundersen Hospital in Boscobel.  He was born September 26, 1934 in Gays Mills.  The son of Kenneth and Margaret (Mezera) Schwert, he married Carole  Borchert on September 6, 1958 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gays Mills.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Schwert of Boscobel. Three daughters;

Terri (Michael) Beckius of Blue River, Barbara (Eric) Ottesen of Muscoda, and Christine (Scotty) Wertel of Platteville, 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, his siblings, Peggy (Royce) Havlik of Gays Mills, Joseph Schwert of Gays Mills, John (Lois) Schwert of Gays Mills, Jim Schwert of Gays Mills, Janet (Al) Wood of Middleton, Mary Schwert of Gays Mills, Helen Schwert of Gays Mills, and Merriam Warrington of Gays Mills, and Special Cousins, Bob and Jerry Mezera.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Daniel Schwert, and brother Don Schwert.
