Elaine M. Adams, age 82 of Boscobel passed away on Saturday April 23, 2022 at Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel.  She was born March 6, 1940 in Boscobel, Wisconsin.  The daughter of Howard and Mae (Dobson) Miller. She married Leon "Hoot" Adams on June 21, 1959 at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel.  He preceded her in death on October 19, 2001.
Elaine worked  at Memorial Hospital, in Boscobel for over 35 years in the Medical Records Department. Elaine lived independently in her remodeled house where she grew up on her Century Farm for quite some time.  She enjoyed gardening,she had a special liking to her flowers, and took pride in keeping her place looking as good as she could keep it. A puzzle out on her living room table was  given. She liked watching the birds, at her feeders, not so much the racoons and groundhogs. She appreciated neighbors who stopped to lend a helping hand and the brief chats while working in her garden.  Her church, fatih, family and dear friends were very important to her. Frequently Elaine would be seen on garage sale outings, Walmart shopping or a bite to eat at Culvers with one of those dear friends. "Miss Me, But Let Me Go" epitomizes who Elaine was.
She is survived by three sons; Jeff Adams and Resa Norwood both of Boscobel, John (Sue) Adams of Boscobel, and Joe Adams and Lori Eddy both of Sparta. Three Grandchildren, Three Great-Grandchildren.  One Brother; Gary Miller of Superior Wisconsin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant twin sister.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday  April 27, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Maple Ridge Bible Church rural Boscobel. Pastors Dave Smith and Pastor Noel Mayes co-officiating.  Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday April  27, 2022  from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 at Maple Ridge Bible Church in rural Boscobel. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice, Maple Ridge Bible Church or Gundersen Health System in Boscobel.  Online condolences can be made at www.kendallfuneralservice.com
