Dateline Boscobel
Frances Hubl, age 99 of Boscobel, died at the home of her grandson Tony Hubl- Kerry McCabe. She was born on October 15, 1921 to Henry Keller and Mary Milfred of Cazenovia. She graduated from Richland Center High School.
Fran met Raymond Hubl in Madison Wisconsin at Turner Hall at a dance in 1939. They were married at Immaculate Conception Church in Boscobel on June 15, 1940. She and Ray ran a grocery store and gas pumps,then cafe,cabins,motel and lumber yard.
They retired in 1977 and moved to Muscoda. They spent winters in Bradington, Florida in their motor home. They enjoyed going dancing in many places and loved to travel in their motorhome. He husband Ray died of lyme disease on January 7 1990 on St. Raymonds Day.
Fran moved to an apartment in November 2015. Fran has been living with her grandson Tony and wife Kerry for the last 4 years at Hubl's motel.
She is survived by her son Thomas (Jeanne) of Madison, daughter Barbara of Winsdor , also her grandchildren Tony (Kerry) Mary (Todd) of Puriscal, Costa Rica, and Charles (deceased). Her great-grandchildren Tom Jr., Seamus, Liam, Kylie,Krysta,Kayci , and Charlie. Her Great-Great-Grandchildren, Addylyn Camryn, Molly and Sage,Soren, Steven.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Please no flowers, Donations could be sent to Corpus Christi Parish , St. Vincent Muscoda or Boscobel Tuffley Center. Friends may call on Thursday October 22, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel.
