George O. Reynolds, age 91 of Boscobel, passed away on Friday May 12, 2023 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born April 15, 1932 in Boscobel, Wisconsin. The son of George and Grace (Turner) Reynolds. He married Ardith Leffler on December 11, 1970 in Boscobel. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
George had many hobbies and interests through out his lifetime. Those interested included drives in his big yellow truck with his wife, Ardith, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, watching the birds along with his neighbors dogs. When George had extra time he loved to go deer hunting, mowing at his farm, gardening and watching the packers play.
He is survived by his wife Ardith Reynolds of Boscobel. His children, Judy Stump of Palm Harbor Florida, Jeannette (Ken) Conner of Beloit, SuAnn Elliott of Boscobel, Robin Reynolds of Boscobel, Robert Haskins of Boscobel, Rodney Haskins of Boscobel, Lisa (Nick) Ward of Boscobel, Lisa Haskins of Prairie du Chien. 22 Grandchildren, 38 Great-Grandchildren. Three Sisters, Betty Van Dyke of Milwaukee, Joyce Fischer of Blanchardville, Rita (Donavan) Baumeister of Boscobel. Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son George Reynolds Jr., two granddaughters; Justine Brownlee, Amy Bennett. A grandson Brent Hollenburger. He was also preceded by four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel. Pastor Stan Pegram officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday May 18, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service, at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel. Military honors will be accorded by the Blake-Semrad American Legion Post #134 and the Gilbertson Pitzer Radley VFW Post# 10393 both of Boscobel.
