Gerald M. Blakeslee

Gerald M. Blakeslee, age 86 of Boscobel, WI. passed away at home with his family by his side on Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was born on February 5, 1938, son of the late James and Gladys (Wolf) Blakeslee. Jerry married Shirley Koenig on July 7, 1962 in Postville, IA. Their marriage was blessed with two sons and three grandsons in their 61 years together. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He managed the Schultz Brothers store in downtown Boscobel for many years and was employed at Lands' End until retirement. Jerry was an avid walker, golfer, and Cubs fan.

Jerry is survived by his wife Shirley Blakeslee of Boscobel, WI, sons Thomas (Rebecca) Blakeslee of Vincennes, IN and Timothy (Alecia) Blakeslee of Ankeny, IA; grandchildren Robert, Brody, and Bennett Blakeslee; along with his sister Sandy (Fred) Gawronski of Reedsburg, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Blakeslee.
