It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Harold R. "Dick" Boebel, 79, who died peacefully at his home on Friday, November 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A man who always did things on his own terms, Dick waited until his 79th birthday to leave this world.
Born in Boscobel, Wisconsin on November 7, 1946, to Harold and Thelma (Richter) Boebel. Dick inherited a strong work ethic that defined his life. He was a true craftsman and a dedicated hard worker, spending his career building bridges, laying concrete, and constructing houses.
He is survived by his children: Jason (Janet) Boebel, Jody (Greg) Williams, and Jennifer (Shawn) Martin. He leaves behind a legacy through his beloved grandchildren: Aaron (Kailey) Boebel, Brandon (Nicole) Howell, Paige (Kyle) Burnikel, Zebulon Riley, Jett (Laura) Boebel, Abrham Boebel, and Gianni Boebel. He was the proud great-grandfather of Bentlee, Krew, Kinsley, Tyson, Xena, and Tate. Dick also has several nieces and nephews.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Fred and a sister Sandy.
A celebration of life for Dick will be held at the Boscobel Bowl and Banquet, 16971 Hwy 61, Boscobel on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established. Online condolences can be offered at www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
