Jacqueline Ann “Jackie” McCullick passed away on October 10, 2024 after a long illness. She was born on August 10, 1947 in Hillsboro, Illinois to Frank and Betty (Rowson) Elliott. Jackie married Arnold McCullick on January 29th, 1973 in Reedsburg, Wi. Jackie most enjoyed time spent with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend. Jackie was generous and could make anyone feel welcome; anyone who knew her would agree that she was stubborn in a (mostly) good way. She enjoyed time spent playing card games (especially when she was adding to her pile of coins). She and Arnold spent time up north camping and fishing, and they took multiple trips to Arizona. Jackie was an avid Packer fan who never missed the chance to cheer them on. She could also be found enjoying a glass of wine or a Coors Light. Jackie loved all animals, but she always had a special place in her heart for dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arnold McCullick, 2 daughters, Brenda (Jim) Dains and Sara (B.J.) Halverson, 2 sons, John (Kathaleen) McCullick and Jeff (Kathy) McCullick, and 17 grandchildren: Andrea (Tyson), Melissa (Michael), Brooke, Tommi Jo, Jamie, Christopher, Jackie, Jessica, Lexus, Leah, Eric, Alex, Matthew, Tiffany, Tricia, Paige, Parker and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Donna (David) Waugh, Connie (Robert) Langen, and Tracy Magyar and 3 sisters-in-law, Donna Elliott, Joyce (Mike) Stimpson, and Jane Jones. She was survived by many nieces and nephews. Lastly, she is survived by 2 very special “grand dogs”, Cash and June.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Betty, her son, William “Bill” McCullick, her daughter, Sherri Kinder, her brother, Robert Elliott, her mother and father in-law, Leland and Myrna McCullick, and her sister-in law, Nancy Beechy.
In accordance with Jackie’s wishes, there will be no formal service; however, a celebration of her life will be held beginning at Noon on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Mt Zion Pub, 43499 County Rd W, Boscobel. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Boscobel Rescue Squad in her honor.
