Janice I. Ledbury, age 80 of Muscoda, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on June 29, 1943 to the late Elmer and Glenys (Clark) Jerrett. Janice married Herbert Ledbury on April 7, 1962 at the Lancaster United Methodist Church, and they were blessed with 62 years together. She was a talented cook and baker who enjoyed making food for her family. Janice had a passion for horses and loved taking her horses on trail rides and going to rodeos. She was very handy with a needle and took enjoyment in sewing and canning food. What was most important to Janice though was her family. She treasured the times spent together, and she will forever be missed by those that loved her.
Janice is survived by her husband Herb Ledbury of Muscoda, sons Jeffrey Ledbury of Blue River and Curtis Ledbury of Blue River, 7 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Sue Ledbury, and siblings Frederick Jerrett, Katherine Schroeder, Melvin Jerrett, Mary Washburn, and Charlie Jerrett.
The funeral service for Janice will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel with Rev. Kristen Lowe officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
Janice will be laid to rest at the Rock Church Cemetery in rural Livingston following the service. Family and friends are welcome to go to the Livingston United Methodist Church, 415 W.
