Jean A. Neumann, age 90 of Boscobel, passed away on Tuesday October 24, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.  She was born September 10, 1933 in Chicago Illinois. The daughter of August and Grace (Fisher) Ritter. She married Ben Neumann on August 1, 1959 in Chicago Illinois, he preceded her in death on March 29, 2019.

Jean loved bird watching, reading nonfiction and was an avid sports fan. She never missed watching a game from her Alma Mater, Illinois. She also loved taking photos, especially of her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two Grandchildren, Joe (Maribel) Neumann of Boscobel, and Sandra Dorazil of Milwaukee. Three Great-Grandchildren, Sierra Llaguno of Boscobel, Edward Neumann of Boscobel, and Jeffrey Neumann of Boscobel. A sister, Carol (Al) Stensland of Woodstock Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Jeff and Scott Neumann, a sister, Ruth Stoneberg.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday December 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Mark Peters officiating. Burial at a later date. Friends may call on Saturday December 2, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.
