Jeanette J. Hardy

Jeanette J. Hardy, age 82 of rural Boscobel, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on April, 23, 1942 in Patch Grove, WI, daughter of the late Loyd and Wilma (Rewey) Wilkinson. She married Lloyd B. Hardy on October 31, 1959 at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel. Their marriage was blessed with four children over 51 years together.

She is survived by her children Cindy (fiancé Norbert Riemenapp) Childs of Boscobel, Jodi (Dan) Childs of Mazomanie, Lloyd (Amy) Hardy of Viroqua, Amy Farley of Tinley Park, IL, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother Billy Wilkinson of Mt. Hope, sister Mary Wilkinson of AZ, brothers-in-law Gary (Karen) Hardy of Richland Center and Melvin Mayne of Wauzeka, sisters-in-law Marlene (Larry) Wetter of Boscobel and Marilyn Hardy of Janesville, along with many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd B. Hardy as well as her parents. 

Jeannette worked at Century Link for 38 years. She was an avid card player. Jeanette and Lloyd treasured the times spent together and loved to travel. She will be remembered as loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

A private funeral service will be held at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel with Rev. Lance Wetter officiating. Jeanette will be laid to rest at the Boscobel Cemetery. Online condolences can be offered at www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
