John Kretschmann

John F. Kretschmann, age 78 of Boscobel, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. He was born on October 30, 1946, son of the late Frank and Hilda (Miller) Kretschmann. John married Jeanne Spaulding in Boscobel on November 9, 2003. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam era.

John is survived by his wife Jeanne Spaulding of Boscobel, daughters Michelle (Brian) Pitzer of Boscobel and Denise (David) Perkins of Arena, grandchildren Jordan Perkins of Arena, Austin Martin of Boscobel, and Trevor Martin of Boscobel.

A private service will be held with military honors. He will be laid to rest in the Boscobel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any local veteran’s organization of your choice in John’s memory. The Kendall Funeral Service of Boscobel is assisting with arrangements.
