Judith L. "Judy" Devlin, age 82 of Boscobel, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 27, 2021 at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Fennimore. She was born June 18, 1939 in Eagle River, Wisconsin. The daughter of Jasper and Lucille (Landberg) Rude. She married David Devlin on February 15, 1995 in Las Vegas Nevada. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2010.
Judy worked for the city of Boscobel for 26 years and retired in May of 2004. She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement with her husband Dave, traveling and going on cruises. Christmas was her favorite holiday, decorating and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening, planting flowers, and always had a beautiful puzzle to finish.
There was always something to do at Grandma's, or she'd find something for you to do if you said the word "bored". She had a huge collection of movies for both young and old. We're pretty sure she had every Disney movie ever made.
Judy is survived by her six children, twins- Colleen Yahn Stoughton, Char (Jim) Laursen Aurora, IL. Deborah Donahue (Steve Peer) Woodman. twins- Beth Donahue Childs Bastrop, Tx Barb Keller (Bill Becker) Ellen (Glenn) Crary both of Boscobel. Nine grandchildren, Valerie (Gabe) Drews, Nichole (Chris) Okapal, Ryan (Danielle) Childs, Chaz Keller, Miriah (Carson) Spotts, Chelsey Childs, Shana, Cassie and Austin Wunnicke.
Eleven great grandchildren, William and Oliver Drews, Lincoln and Hudson Okapal, Chloe and Easton Childs, Jaxson and Addalyn Spotts, Kacey and Teegan Carillo and McKenzie Smith, Lydia Crary and Sophia Yates. Sister in law Diane McKenna Rude, nephews David and Dennis Rude and niece Michelle Rude Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband David Devlin, parents, Jasper and Lucille Rude, brother Russell Rude
A memorial service will be held on Saturday ,August 28, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Burial will be in the Boscobel Cemetery .
