Kenneth V. Adkins, age 85, of Prairie du Chien and formerly of Wauzeka, passed away on Thursday March 2, 2023 at his residence in Prairie du Chien, surrounded by his family. He was born March 27, 1937 in Lynxville Wisconsin. The son of Frank and Madeline (Cramblett) Adkins. He married Clara Kolman on June 6, 1959 in Soldiers Grove. She preceded him in death on May 24, 2000.
His hobby was buying and restoring antique tractors. He was a life member of the Boscobel Antique Club, and member of the Crawford County Friends of the Fair.
He is survived by two sons, Pete (Dawn) Adkins, of Prairie du Chien, Frank (Rose) Adkins, of Boscobel. Three daughters, Wendy Adkins, of Bagley, Glenda Adkins, of Prairie du Chien, Bethany (Duane) Adam, of Prairie du Chien. 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Timmie Adkins, an infant brother, Harry Adkins, a sister Frieda Rice, and a grandson Jessie Adkins.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 11, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Prairie du Chien. Branch President Scott Koether officiating. Burial in the Haney Ridge Cemetery rural Gays Mills. Friends may call on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 P.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Prairie du Chien. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Crawford County Friends of the Fair. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.
