Lance A. Glasbrenner

Lance A. Glasbrenner, age 52 of Boscobel, passed away peacefully at Agrace Hospice Care in
Fitchburg on Sunday, November 8 th , 2020 due to complications of Covid-19 which were
exacerbated by the degenerative brain disorder he was diagnosed with in February 2019.

Lance was born on December 22, 1967 to Ted and Karyn (Daugherty) Glasbrenner. He married
Tammy Stead on August 15 th , 1997 and took her daughter, Stephanie Stead, as his own.

Lance graduated from Fennimore High School in 1986. He then attended the University of
Wisconsin-Platteville where he participated in the wrestling program. He joined his father in the
insurance business in 1993 and took over the business from his father in 2009. Lance continued
in Glasbrenner Insurance Agency until his declining health forced him to sell in 2019. He served
as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Franklin Farmers Mutual Insurance Company for
many years.

Lance was an avid outdoorsman with his love for hunting and fishing with his friends and family.
He was a member of Wings Over Wisconsin and served as Secretary/Treasurer. He loved
watching his nieces and nephews in their sports and also loved Badger Basketball, Football and
the Green Bay Packers.

Lance is survived by his wife Tammy, daughter Stephanie, Father Ted (Jen) Glasbrenner,
Brothers Loren (Cindy Ott), Lane (Rochelle Mindham), Luke and Joanna Glasbrenner. His in-laws
Terri Saint, Kim & Dave Kazda, Lisa & Kevin Roth, Todd & Kristin Kriz, Brett (Dori Richardson)
Varvil. Aunt’s Kathy (Dave Mancini) Kinney, Kayla and Kevin Gosh, Joyce Thompson. Uncles
Leon and Becky Glasbrenner and Mark Glasbrenner. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and good
friends.

Lance was proceeded in death by his mother, paternal and maternal grandparents, a cousin,
Kallie Gosh and nephew Nathan Wachter. Among other friends and family members.

A small private family service will be held on Saturday November 21st at Kendall Funeral Home
in Boscobel. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a gathering for friends and family will occur at a
later date. Cards of sympathy may be addressed to Tammy Glasbrenner, 107 Vista Place,
