Lynn Haggerty

Roderick Lynn Haggerty, age 77 of rural Boscobel, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025 surrounded by his family. Lynn was born on May 3, 1947 to the late Merlin and Carol (Larsen) Haggerty. He grew up in Mt. Zion and graduated from Boscobel High School before continuing education his in La Crosse, WI to be an auto mechanic. Lynn was united in marriage to Diana Faust on November 29, 1969 at the Methodist Church in Boscobel, and they were blessed with two children. He worked at Brindley Motors in Boscobel for 40 years and ran Lynn’s Repair. He enjoyed truck and tractor pulling, camping, working on vehicles, and spending time with family and friends.

Lynn is survived by his son Chad (Lorri) Haggerty of Mt. Zion, grandchildren Drake (Courtney Reger) Haggerty of Rewey and Jacob (Morgan Roberts) of Belmont, great-grandson Daxon Haggerty, brother Dean (Charlene) Haggerty of Wausau, sister Carolyn (Richard) Prucha of Cambridge, special friend Yvonne Zubaty, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Diana Haggerty, daughter Jamie Haggerty, brother Wayne Haggerty, along with his parents.

The funeral service for Lynn will be held at Noon on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel with Rev. Lance Wetter officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Lynn will be laid to rest at Union Hill Cemetery in Mt. Zion.
