Margaret Mary (O'Keefe) Stickley passed away peacefully at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin on March 28, 2023. Peggy was born to Edward and Judy O'Keefe on September 11, 1964 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was the eldest of 8 children. She married the love of her life Allan Stickley on May 13, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel.
Peggy was an excellent cook who loved spending time cooking for Allan and enjoying their log home. Peggy had a keen appreciation of nature and enjoyed watching the wildlife from the home she and Allan built together. She was the IBS National Rifle Champion in 2002, won several benchrest shooting awards, and excelled at whatever she did.
She is preceded in death by her father Edward O'Keefe, Allan's mother Barbara Kay Stickley, and her brother Patrick O'Keefe. Peggy is survived by her husband Allan Stickley of Boscobel, his father Larry Stickley of Boscobel,, her mother Judy O'Keefe of Wauwatosa , siblings Katie Mahr of Madison, Tim O'Keefe of Wauwatosa ,Therese (Bruce) Urben of Sheboygan, Mary Beth (Ken) Dam,of Concord Ca., Anne (Paul) Gozar, of Morton Grove Ill., and Michael O'Keefe of Wauwatosa , her brother-in-laws Ron (Sheila ) and Kevin (Serena ) Stickley of Steuben countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 20, 2023 at the Boscobel Bowl and Banquet in Boscobel. Pastor Lance Wetter Officiating. Burial will be in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday May 20, 2023 from 10:00 - 2:00 P.M. with a service at 12:00 P.M.
