Marilyn D. Miklasz, age 86 of Boscobel and formerly of Crystal Lake Illinois, passed away on Saturday September 18, 2021 surrounded by her family at Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel.  She was born March 16, 1935 in Chicago Illinois.  The daughter of Gustav and Viola (Halterman) Becker.  She married Jack Miklasz on May 14, 1955 in Chicago Illinois.  He preceded her in death on June 21, 2013. 

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Arthur) Dinkins of Natchez MS, Linda (Paul) Fillbach of Steuben  WI, Thomas (Jean) Miklasz of Stanley WI, Elizabeth (Bryon) Flansburg of Wauzeka WI, Matthew (Cyndy) Miklasz of Boyd WI, and Mary (Tim) Johnson of Richland Center WI. 15 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren . Four cousins, two sister in laws, Bonnie Miklasz of Crystal Lake Illinois, Gert Miklasz of Franklin Park Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

“Our Mom was a very devoted Wife and Mother…an example of strength, courage, and endurance. She loved animals, coffee, playing cards, shopping, and being with her family. She is in our heart always.”

Private services will be held on Friday September 24, 2021 at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Burial will be at a later date.
