Maryon J. Bartels, age 91 of Boscobel, passed away on Friday December 4, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 12, 1929 in Middleton, Wisconsin.  The daughter of Charles and Josephine (Thorson) Irwin. She married  Paul Royce Bartels on February 20, 1954 in Portage Wisconsin.  He preceded her in death on October 29, 1985.  She is survived by three sons; David (Jean) Bartels of Clinton Wi., Michael (Pam) Bartels of Boscobel, Bruce (Tara) Bartels of Columbus Wi. Three  daughters; Jodee Bartels of Boscobel, Debra Bartels of Monticello Wi., Cindy Bartels of Boscobel. 13 Grandchildren , 19 Great-Grandchildren. A sister; Doris Bolgrihm of Wyocna Wi. A sister in law; Alice Irwin of Arizona. Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister.
Private  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Lance Wetter officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 and restrictions, those in attendance are required to wear masks and use social distancing.
