Margaret Trumm

Margaret “Midge” Trumm, age 71, Boscobel, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, surrounded by her family. 

She was born on July 4, 1952 in Boscobel, the daughter of Leonard and Joan (Schwingle) Richter. 

She married Harold Trumm on September 5,1970 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. 

She attended Boscobel High School and after graduation she worked at Gasser’s True Value until present. During her years at Gasser’s, she made an impact on everyone she served.

They purchased a farm outside of Boscobel where they worked and raised their family. 

Midge loved to spend time with her family and extended family, especially UTVing with their dog Peter. Her favorite thing in life where her grandchildren, always making sure they knew it. 

She was always living life to the fullest with a smile. 

She is survived by her husband, Harold Trumm of Boscobel; her children, Sara (Tom) Seeley of Boscobel, Travis Trumm of Boscobel, and James H. Trumm and Jackie Dickman, both of Boscobel; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Katlyn and Kennedy Seeley, Ava and Stewart, Connor, Veda and Cash Trumm; her beloved dog, Peter; two sisters, Rebecca Wilcox of La Crescent MN., Jennifer (Ron) Patterman of Verona; two sisters-in-law, Sheryl Richter of Boscobel, Kitti Richter of Door County; sister-in-law, Chris (David) Bailie, Francis (Lisa) Trumm Boscobel, Jeff Trumm, Robert (Darci) Trumm Evansville; and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Frank and Diane Trumm; one sister, Kathy DeKeyser; three brothers, Greg, Nick and Eric Ritcher; and brother-in-law, Allen Wilcox.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 3-9 p.m. and the service will be held at 6 p.m. at the Boscobel Bowling and Banquet in Boscobel.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorials can be given to the Boscobel Rescue Squad and Boscobel Fire Department. 

The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.
