Mildred T. (Welsh) Heffner

Mildred T.  "Milie" Heffner, age 90 of rural Boscobel, passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2022, at Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel, surrounded by her family.  She was born January 16, 1932 in Akan Township, Richland County Wisconsin.  The daughter of Henry and Mary Fern (Proudfoot) Welsh.  She married David Heffner on July 10, 1965 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gays Mills.  He preceded her in death on June 4, 2012.
Mildred enjoyed playing cards, gardening, along with crochet, and embroidery. 
She is survived by Nieces and Nephews. A  sister in law: Wanda Welsh.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters , Alice (husband Robert ) Connely Sr., Loretta (Husband Henry) Roberson. Seven brothers; Oscar (Wife Caroline) Welsh, Edward (Wife Edith) Welsh, William (Inez) Welsh,  Harry Welsh, Paul (Wife Gladys) Welsh, Raymond (Wife Pearline) Welsh, and Albert Welsh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel, Father Christopher Padilla officiating. Burial in the Union Hill Cemetery, Mt. Zion.  Friends may call on Saturday November 26, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. The family of Mildred suggests, that masks be worn.  In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred .The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.  Online Condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
