Mr. and Mrs. Denny Cartwright Obituary

Denny passed away March 30, 2020, after a 4 year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He is survived by his siblings: Ann, Craig, Michelle, Madeline, and Steven. Sandi passed away on April 5, 2020, from what her family believes to be a broken heart. She is survived by her sister Denise. Both Sandi and Dennis are survived by three nieces; Sabrina (husband Dana & family), Raquel, and Alicia and four nephews; Jake (daughter, Khloe), Casanova,  Gilbert Jr.. and Jeff. They were preceded in death by both sets of parents. Extended family for both Dennis and Sandi, both living and deceased, held special places in their hearts and lives and can not go without mention. Dennis and Sandi treasured their family and friends and those relationships will continue through death.

Dennis and Sandi were married on April 4, 1980, in Las Vegas and lived in the San Diego, CA area until they relocated to Boscobel to be closer to family. They purchased their home in 1992 where they spent many happy years as each other’s best friend. Dennis was an avid bowler, golfer, and pool shark! Sandi was also an avid bowler, painter of ceramics, and movie watcher/collector. Together they enjoyed the occasional trip to the “boat”, dining out with family, and just being together in the quiet moments of their lives.

Denny was lovingly known to his family as the “scrooge” and they all knew that his idea of a “holiday” was not what was typically thought of! Sandi was known for her kindness, large heart and risque sense of humor- she was wickedly funny and dull moments were not to be found when she was around! Family and friends could always count on the pair for great fun, laughs and much love.

In accordance with Sandi & Dennis’s wishes, there will be no formal service or visitation. The Kendall Funeral Service of Boscobel is assisting the family.
