Robert Radley Obituary

Robert H. Radley, age 87 of Stoughton and formerly of Lone Rock, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025. He was born on July 8, 1938, son of the late Hallie and Irene (Grimsey) Radley. He was united in marriage to Margaret “Peggy” Johnson, and they were blessed with three daughters.  Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. He would reminisce fondly on the 25 plus years that he served in the Army.

While Bob was 87, he had a zest for life and a youthful spirit. He enjoyed going for long drives, camping, fishing, boating, and riding his ATV. Bob loved just sitting by the river and thinking about life. He had a passion for cars, and truly treasured the times he spent restoring his bright yellow 1947 Chevy truck. Bob used his mechanical knowledge regularly and once built an ultralight plane and flew it around the home he lived.

Anything mechanical that he could take apart and put back together, he would. Bob loved trying to discover the problem and how to fix it. He also had the gift of gab and could talk to anyone. He was a good man but stubborn at times. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family and friends dearly.

He is survived by his daughters Robin (Darrel) Thurow of Portage, WI, Jane (Lorne Bushor) Siebert of Edgerton, WI, and Kathy Harris of Wichita, KS; grandchildren Bennett Siebert of Edgerton, WI, Bobby (Taylor) Siebert of Sun Prairie, WI, Bree (Kevin Halik) Baccki of Belleville, MI, Danielle (Ramon) Casado of Portage, WI, Leland (Kelsey) Harris of Seattle, WA, Margot (Tony) Harris-Reid of Kansas City, KS, and Kaitlyn (Aeron) Johnson of Wichita, KS. Robert is further survived by his great-grandchildren Dominic and Anthony Baccki along with their father P.J. Baccki, Finn Siebert, Kinsley Halik, Leo, Alexa, and Demi Casado; and Jack Harris; sister Darlene Wierick, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Robert was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Radley, grandsons DJ Thurow and Cashton Lambert; siblings Delores, Art, Leland, and twins Hazel and Harold; as well as his parents Hallie and Irene Radley.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 14, 2025 in the Boscobel Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established. Online condolences can be offered at www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
