Robert "Bob" Lenz Obituary

Robert J. "Bob" Lenz, age 85 of Prairie du Chien, and formerly of Wauzeka, passed away on Thursday August 18,2022 at Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel Wisconsin.  He was born July 10, 1937 in Wauzeka.  The son of John and Alice (Johnson) Lenz Sr. He married Jane Shipley on November 7, 1998 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel.

Bob was very much an outdoorsman.  He looked forward every year for his two sons, Rod and Dan, his grandsons and granddaughters to hunt wild duck, turkey and deer together.

Springtime was another exciting time for Bob as he and his brother, John Jr., would set out bank poles and set lines to catch the big catfish.  He also enjoyed doing wood carvings and woodworking projects.  Bob was very committed to his wife Jane and his families.  Very kind, wonderful, father, to all his children, step-children, and grandchildren.

Bob had a certain wit and charm about him, he could turn a gloomy day into an array of sunshine.

He is survived by his wife Jane Lenz of Prairie du Chien. Two sons; Rodney (Courtney) Lenz of Tempe AZ., Daniel (Sara) Lenz of Blue Mound. Two daughters; Jennifer (Jeff) Corona of Cedarburg, Jane (Ethan) Green of Pewaukee. Two stepchildren; John (Val) Degnan of Wauzeka, and Lynn (Doug Rector) Byrne of Wauzeka. 13 Grandchildren. One brother; John (Mary) Lenz of Wauzeka. A sister Mary (Frank) Maxwell of Milton.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Richard and Frank Lenz, a sister-in-law, Marge Lenz, and a Grandson, Calvin Lenz.
