Rocky L. Starnes, age 67 of Boscobel, passed away on Monday August 14, 2017 at his home in Boscobel. Rocky was born on June 10, 1950 in Dodgeville Wisconsin.  The son of Eula and Angeline (LaFlash) Starnes. He was a Navy veteran.  He is survived by his children Brandy  Riley of Vinita Oka., Bridget Starnes of Bagley,  Stacy (Justin) Nichols of Benkelman Neb., Ryan Starnes of Wauneta Neb., Cory Starnes of Boscobel. 14 Grandchildren . His mother  Angeline Kowalski .  3 sisters,  Annette Starnes of Prairie du Chien, Bambi (Dan) Welsh  Highland. Tawana (Jim) Wienkers of Dike Ia., Two step sisters and a step brother,  Julie Faulk of Richland Center  Tom (Trudy) Benish of Highland, Sally Benish of Highland.  He was preceded in death by his father Eula Starnes, 2 grandchildren Tyler Weeden, Dylan Hansen.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday August 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the VFW Hall in Boscobel. Pastor Mary Ann Floreke officiating.  Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Friday August 18, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the VFW Hall in Boscobel.  Military honors will be accorded by the Gilbertson-Pitzer-Radley VFW Post # 10393 and the Blake-Semrad American Legion Post # 134 both of Boscobel.
