Rollie Martin Obituary

Roland "Rollie" Charles Martin, 80 of Boscobel, WI passed away peacefully in his home with his loving wife by his side on Januray 10th, 2020.
Roland was born to Atley and Myrtle (Hayes) Martin at their home in Bell Center, WI on December 19th, 1939.

Rollie graduated from Boscobel High School in 1959, shortly there after Rollie moved to Kenosha, WI and began work at American Motors.
While working in Kenosha, Rollie met the love of his life Karen Jensen. Together they moved back to the Boscobel area in 1968 with their ready made "Brady Bunch" of a family and became buisness partners with his brothers at Boscobel Refrigeration.  Rollie and Karen were united in marriage on August 19th of 1969 and spent the next 50 years faithfully by each others side.

Rollie had a great love for the outdoors and everything it had to offer.
Many a memory was made together as a family from days spent cutting wood to endless hours with the kids and his dogs running coon, deer hunting and fishing. From fun days of mud bogging, to days at the race track, where good times were always had by all.
During the winter seasons Rollie invested many hours working with farmers and land owners getting the trails ready for that years snowmobiling adventures with family and good friends. He was his Granddaughter's Tia and Tessa Martin's "Biggest Fan" - every Wednesday night going to the Horse Shows that the Blackhawk Saddle Club put on running barrels and poles under the lights in Soldiers Grove.  Truth be told, that through every passing season, Rollie's greatest joys were spending time with the ones that he loved, his family and close friends.  Rollie will be forever and always missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen of Boscobel. His children, Brian Martin of Boscobel, Gregory Martin of Spring Green, Laurie(Kevin) Ralph of Boscobel, Debra Bohm Schmitz of Boscobel, Jeffery Martin (deceased), Paula Cifelli of Atlantic City, New Jersery, Shelly Bohm Roth of Boscobel, Tracy(Tonia) Martin of Boscobel. 13 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren. Special Nephew and wife, Todd and Kristen Kriz.  Special Friend, Dean Harville.

He was preceeded in death by his son Jeffery Martin, his parents, Atley and Myrtle Martin, his 3 brothers Carroll Martin, Marvin Martin and Dale Martin.
