Sandra S. "Sandy" Moran
Sandra Sue ‘Sandy’ Moran died on August 25, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born on May 1, 1942, to Chuck and Gert Yahn.
She married her high school sweetheart, Tom Moran, on June 11, 1960. They recently celebrated their sixty first wedding anniversary. They farmed in the Mt. Zion area for ten years before moving to their present farm in Marietta Valley.
Sandy was active on the Boscobel School Board, the Marietta Election Board and the Tuffley Commission Board of Directors.
Sandy is survived by her husband-Tom; son – Tim (Denise) of Boscobel and two daughters, Theresa Krueger of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Susan Hoagland (Tom) of West Bend, as well as five granddaughters and five great-grandchildren . A sister Sally (Dick) Pick of Park City, Utah .Sandy is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers in-law and many cherished family members and friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Chuck and Gert Yahn, and brother, Clarence ‘Chuck’ Yahn. She was also preceded in death by her parents-in-law -Bernard and Ruby Moran, and brothers in law; David Zinkle; Ron Halverson; and Dale Kuenster.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 3rd at 12 noon at the Immaculate Conception Church, 405 E La Grand Street Boscobel. Friends and family wishing to pay their respects may do so at the visitation which will also be held at the church from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 pm at the Boscobel Bowling Alley.
In lieu of flowers, Sandy and family have requested memorials be made to Agrace Hospice – Platteville, Wisconsin.
