Sharon L. (Dunne) Carlson

Sharon L. Carlson, age 80 of Davenport Iowa and formerly of Boscobel, passed away on Sunday February 5, 2023 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport Iowa, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born October 19, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The daughter of Reinhold and Marguerite  (Sechen)  Dunne. She married Stanley Carlson on August 17, 1963 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Okauchee, Wisconsin. 

Sharon had a beautiful, loving marriage with her high school sweetheart of almost 60 years. She provided strength and support alongside her husband through any adversity and good times they faced together. As a mother, she spun a carefully crafted web that instilled the values of family and love into each string. Sharon was an award-winning artist whose craftiness knew no bounds. Her strong faith in God set an example to everyone. She looked forward to spending time with her children and grandchildren whom she greatly loved. Her laugh, meticulousness, ability to speak her mind, and kindheartedness made her who she was. 

She is survived by her husband Stan Carlson of Davenport Iowa, three sons Jeff (Pam) Carlson of Davenport Ia., Scott Carlson of Davenport Ia., Steve (Jessi) Carlson of Port St. John  Fl.. Two daughters, Jennifer (Andy) Denner of Boscobel, Shawna (Ben) Moore of Bettendorf Ia. 12 Grandchildren , 3 Great-Grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Travis Denner.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday February 17, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Stan Carlson officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery, Boscobel Wisconsin.  Friends may call on Friday February 17, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.
