Sharon D. Lathrop, age 84 of rural Gays Mills, passed away on Friday February 3, 2023 at her residence.  She was born December 27, 1938 in Barnum.  The daughter of Harley and Evelyn  (Zierfuss) Haskins.  She married Lyle A. Lathrop on April 27, 1957 at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel.  He preceded her in death on  February 25, 1992.
Sharon loved Nascar, working in her yard, taking care of her lawn and flowers, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her children, Lynne (Bill ) Bond of Andalusia Ill., Lyle (Charlotte ) Lathrop of Boscobel, Lesley (Kay) Lathrop of Juda, LeAnne (Tim) Barr of Gays Mills. Nine Grandchildren, Thirteen Great-Grandchildren. Brother in Law and sister in law. Larry (Jane) Lathrop of Janesville, and sister in law Noma Lathrop of Boscobel. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Charles Haskins, a sister and brother in law Beverly (Harry) Adams, and a Great-Grandson Declan Barr.
Private Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023 at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor  Mary Ann Floerke   officiating.  Burial in the Haney Ridge Cemetery rural Boscobel.
