Thomas J. "Tom" "Burr" Ostrander, age 64 of Boscobel, passed away on Saturday November 6, 2021 at Gundersen Health Care in Boscobel.  He was born February 5, 1957 in Boscobel.  The son of Theodore and Charlotte (Hudson) Ostrander.  He married Mary Kidd  Johnson, on July 9, 1994 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. 
Burr loved spending time with his friends and family.  He spent several hours working in his woodshop making birdhouses, rocking horses and other items.  He enjoyed hunting,  fishing in his earlier years. 
He is survived by his wife Mary Ostrander of Boscobel. His children; Angie (Gene) Gerndt of Elgin Iowa, Greg (Gretchen) Johnson of Boscobel, Tim (Deb) Johnson of Boscobel. 9 Grandchildren; Taylor, Ayla, and Katelyn Gerndt, Dylan, Aubree and Kylee Johnson, Jacob Welsh, Anna Welsh, and Rebecca Collins. 6 Great-Grandchildren. One sister; Bonita (Roscoe) Ray of Muscoda. One brother; John Ostrander of Muscoda. Several Nieces and Nephews, a Special Aunt and Uncle: David (Connie) Hudson of Prairie du Chien.  Brother and Sister in Law: Duane and Elaine Kidd of Welton Iowa. Sister in Law; Betty Parshall of Coon Valley.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister in law: Julie Ostrander. Mother in Law; Bessie Kidd, and Brother in Law; Father Wayne Kidd.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday November 11, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Lance Wetter officiating. Burial in the Blue River Cemetery at a later date.  Friends may call on Thursday November 11, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of serve at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.  Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
