Travis A. Denner

Travis A. Denner, age 18 of Boscobel, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 as a result of an automobile accident.  He was born July 13, 2003 in Davenport Iowa, the son of Andrew and Jennifer (Carlson) Denner. 

Travis graduated from Boscobel High School in May of 2021, and he was very active in high school sports, especially track. He participated in track and field and went to state in the 200 M (14th place) and 4X4 relay (6th place) this spring which he and his team teammates worked very hard to achieve. He had recently started at Southwest Technical College in the welding program. Travis was recently interviewed for the Boscobel Fire Department to proudly serve next to his dad. Travis was always on the move enjoying everything outdoors including fishing, trapping, and hunting. He also enjoyed time working on cars with his friends. He especially loved to spend time with his family, friends, and Melaina. Travis had a kind, generous heart, and he would do anything to help a friend in need. He always made everyone around him feel included and worthy. Travis stood up for what he believed in and was very determined (some might even say stubborn) putting his absolute all into everything that he did. 

He is survived by his parents, Andy and Jennifer Denner of Boscobel; A sister, Andrea (Tyson) Bell of Waunakee,; two brothers, Nathan Kearney (Melissa Hutchison) of Montfort and Ashlan Denner of Boscobel; his girlfriend, Melaina Sturdevant of Avoca; Maternal Grandparents, Stan and Sharon Carlson of Davenport Iowa; Paternal Grandmother, Jackie Denner of Boscobel; his special extended family, Rick (Sandy) Sturdevant and their children, Alivia and Grant Sturdevant, of Avoca; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Luke Hess is officiating.  Burial is in the Boscobel Cemetery.  Friends may call on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at noon at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family, and they will be distributed in Travis's name.  Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
